(Oct 13) DCCC’s Southeast Center will hold a Skilled Trades Certificates and Degree event, on Oct. 20. Students can find out about trade programs offered by the school.

DCCC’s Advanced Technology Center offers programs in automotive technology, carpentry, construction management and supervision, and certifications for electricians, HVAC specialists, plumbers and welders. 

Certificate programs tend to focus on developing the core skill needed for a job. Degree programs cover a wide diversity of subjects and provide a broad depth of knowledge. They also often include classes outside of core requirements.
