DCCC is holding a contest for the best decorated graduation cap for students graduating in spring 2023. Entries must be posted by May 20 at 8 p.m. on social media.

The contest is free to enter. Students must publicly post a picture including their cap either on Instagram or Facebook using the hashtags, “#DCCCgrad2023” and “#DCCCgradcap” and must tag “@DelawareCCC”.

The first-place prize is a $50 Amazon gift card, second place will receive a DCCC sweatshirt, and third place will receive a DCCC t-shirt.

Liz Obeng, who is decorating her graduation cap, said, “I want to make my cap special, emphasizing my family. Being first generation, I am happy I get to share two different worlds and supply hope and success to my family.”

Each graduate can only submit one entry. The graduation cap photos will be reviewed by May 30 and the winning entries will be announced on DCCC’s Instagram and Facebook page.
