Since DCCC’s remote learning is going to continue through the summer, The New Media Lab student organization is “trying to help create a sense of community and togetherness” despite the state-ordered social distancing, according to Maria Boyd, assistant professor of communication studies. 

Therefore, Boyd is urging students, faculty and administrators to follow the New Media Lab podcasts on Twitter and Instagram. 

“They’re just getting started online, outside of Canvas, and they could use your help to get the word out,” Boyd said.
